Annette Fay, originally from Enfield, Connecticut, is an expert in international development who specializes in research, monitoring and evaluation of water and sanitation projects. She has worked in more than a dozen African countries, as well as France, and is presently living in Switzerland.
She states:
I plan to present how learning the French language first in Connecticut and later in France lead to my interest and work in Francophone West Africa. I’ll speak about my international development work in West Africa over the past twenty years and how I’ve ended up now in Switzerland. I’ll also share observations of the different cultures I’ve
gotten to know well (including a few lessons learned!).
