Come hear a presentation in French about the city of Lille, Northern city near Flanders. There will be special snacks afterwards from the region. Bring some beer!
This exposé by Florine Casbonne-Stover, Lille native,  will explore the city of Lille, a cultural and historical heart of northern France. We will talk about its strategic geographical position, its history, its traditions but also its iconic monuments and unique brick architecture. We will also discover the surrounding region and how it has inspired writers and filmmakers. By the end, she hopes this presentation will spark your curiosity and inspire you to discover for yourself, the warmth and energy that make Lille and its region so special.
