This class is a fun and interactive introduction to French for students with no previous knowledge of the French language.  We will engage in easy group exercises and conversations designed to build confidence and competence. The course emphasizes basic vocabulary and grammar in order to understand and create simple sentences.  By the end of the course, you will be able to greet people and introduce yourself to others, talk about nationality, point out people, express likes and dislikes, talk about your interests, count, tell time, use the French alphabet, describe activities, talk about your preferences, ask and answer simple questions and ask for specific information. We will also explore French culture and traditions, plus art, architecture, sports and history.
