Promoting The French Language & Culture

The Alliance Française de Hartford is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture and to fostering friendship and understanding with the French-speaking world. Our Chapter has been in the Greater Hartford Area for more than 50 years.

The Alliance Française of Hartford has for many years recognized the most promising students of French from local middle schools and high schools.

AFH Scholarship Award

The Harpin-Rohinsky scholarship is administered by the Hartford Foundation or Public Giving and is avaible to students of French in the Greater Hartford area. It provides a $3,000 scholarship, renewable for 3 additional years of high education, as long as the recipient studies French each year.
