Please, join Sylvie Hau in the entertaining world of French dramatist Eugene Labiche (1815-1888) in his brilliant farce and vaudeville: “La Station Champbaudet”(1862).
Handsome young man – Paul Caterel – visits daily the widow Champbaudet to discuss the idea of building a memorial for her late husband.
The widow falls in love with Catarel and is convinced that he is in love with her.
However, Catarel has other plans in mind…
We will study the play (via book and supporting video) and the students will have the opportunity to perform a few scenes at the end of the semester.
