Cours de théâtre
Begins Thursday, March 6th, 2025.
5:45 – 7:45
Please, join Sylvie Hau in the entertaining world of French dramatist Eugene Labiche (1815-1888) in his brilliant farce and vaudeville: “La Station Champbaudet”(1862).
Handsome young man – Paul Caterel – visits daily the widow Champbaudet to discuss his plans for a memorial to honor her late husband. As their meetings progress, The widow becomes infatuated with Catarel and believes he shares her feelings. However, Catarel’s intentions are far different than she imagines.
We will explore the play together through the book and a helpful video, and then you will have the chance to act out a few scenes in class. It’s a fun way to bring the story to life!
