For New Students
The Alliance Française de Hartford offers all levels of classes providing continuity for a solid knowledge of standard French. It is a unique opportunity to experience the language and culture of the francophone world in an informal, supportive learning environment.
All our language classes offer an immersion experience in the French language. Students are encouraged to express themselves in French. Grammar is a tool, not a goal.
Our classes meet once a week for 2 hours. Classes are currently being held in person and on Zoom.

Enrollment Form
Before selecting a class,
all students must first complete the enrollment form.
Course Selection*
The AFH Team will work with you to identify a starting point for your French Language journey.
* NOTE: New students do not need to purchase a membership in order to enroll in classes at the AFH. All AFH students automatically become Gold Members of the organization during the time they are enrolled in French classes with us. This entitles our students to attend most AFH events for free.
